Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer says two Philadelphia men are behind bars following a large drug bust in Cambria County on Thursday.
Authorities say 27-year-old Glenn Veloz Jr. and 21-year-old Blessen Sesay each face felony charges of possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication device.
Police say the bust, which involved the search of a home along the 400 block of West Sample Street in Ebensburg, yielded the following items:
- Over 24 grams of suspected fentanyl with an approximate street value of almost $5,000;
- Over 35 combined grams of suspected crack cocaine, with an approximate street value of over $3,000;
- 84 grams of suspected methamphetamine with an approximate street value of $8,4000;
- Over 140 grams of suspected cocaine with an approximate street value of $14,500;
- And over $1,700 in cash
“This is yet another example of the great coordinated work of local and state law enforcement to aggressively protect our neighborhoods. Thousands of dollars of illegal drugs were confiscated and removed from our streets, including fentanyl and Cocaine. This case demonstrates that law enforcement is fully committed to battling illegal narcotics in large and small towns alike, and we will continue ensuring that our communities are safe," DA Neugebauer said in a statement.
Both Veloz and Sesay are being housed at the Cambria County Prison after failing to post bail.
